Logo & Identity

In an increasingly visual world, first impressions make a big difference. It has been said so many times simply because it is true! You may well dress differently at work, at home and at play. By doing so, you express your character and personality, which in turn influences other people's perception of you. You should take as much care about your business identity too.
Your logo is often the first impression a potential client has of your business so it is essential to get it right from the start. It should make a clear statement about what you stand for and what products and services you offer. A logo creates associations and expectations among products and represents values, ideas, and even a 'personality' for your business.

Consistency is also essential - it breeds familiarity and recognition. If your height varied by 2 or 3 inches every time you met someone, and on each occasion you had different colour hair (and sometimes leaned to the right sometimes and were a bit pale) you might well be perceived as 'a bit strange'. Some people might not even recognise you at all.

To avoid this perception your business identity must have a consistent look across all printed material, on your website and ideally on your promotional emails too. Your logo and branding has to work in a great variety of situations, from your business card and office stationery up to building signage and advertising billboards. It may also need to work on different media: various digital formats, plastic or cardboard packaging, or even etched on metal or glass.
| In addition to designing a logo and developing a colour scheme that is suitable for use in all situations we can create your own unique typeface and develop a full ‘house style’ for your business. This includes full written 'brand-guidelines' on how to use your logo and identity in any format. With this you can approach future advertising agencies, suppliers of uniforms etc. secure in the knowledge that have all the instructions needed to reproduce your logo and colours faithfully and consistently. |
